Hosted by Crawford Adventist Academy, the Annual Vernon Langdon Golf Classic is made possible through the partnership of our corporate sponsors, alumni, family and friends. As we reflect on our journey, we recognize the importance of giving back to our community and investing in the future generation. 

In 2021, the VLGC was rebranded and expanded with all proceeds benefiting scholarships for students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. 

Our premier fundraising event honours its namesake, Sir Vernon Langdon, who served at Crawford Adventist Academy as teacher, Vice-Principal and then Principal for a tenure of 24 years. Vernon is highly committed to guiding our youth to achieve their academic goals. He challenges students and their families to unite communities by working together for a better future. An avid sportsman in golf, Vernon recognises the importance of not just training the body, but the mind as well. His exemplary contributions to Christian Education have left an indelible impact in the lives of so many young people. His passion to see youth succeed in life is the propelling force behind the Vernon Langdon Golf Classic. The VLGC brings golfers and supporters together to bolster funds for scholarships that will impact many generations of young people to come.
