Crawford Adventist Academy is thrilled to host the 15th Anniversary Vernon Langdon Golf Classic. This annual event is made possible through the partnership of our corporate sponsors, alumni, family and friends with proceeds benefitting youth development initiatives which will continue to help provide students with an opportunity to experience an excellent high-quality education. The fee of $170 per individual or $680 per foursome, features an exciting day which includes: continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf, post-round luncheon, shared power cart with safety dividers & GPS, bag service, complimentary bucket of balls for warm up on the driving range prior to tee-off, gifts and the opportunity to win fabulous prizes. Our premier fundraising event honours its namesake, Vernon Langdon, who served at Crawford Adventist Academy as teacher, Vice-Principal and then Principal for a tenure of 24 years. Being highly committed to guiding children and youth to achieve their academic goals, he challenged students and their families to build up the community by working together, both at home and in the school environment. A sportsman in golf, bowling and track, Vernon Langdon recognizes the importance of not just training up the mind, but the body as well. His exemplary contributions to higher learning and Christian education have left an indelible impact in the lives of many young people. His passion to see young people succeed in all areas of life propels the driving focus behind the Vernon Langdon Golf Classic as it brings golfers and supporters together to bolster youth development initiatives for many generations to come.
